For the past two and a half years, Stockland has undergone rebranding, including the expansion and closure of various business units. This has resulted in gaps on the website, making it difficult for users to find the necessary information, leading to dissatisfaction.

To provide a smooth user journey that guides users to the information they seek, increases the number of enquiries, and integrates a consistent design across different business units, updating the website has become essential.

Research

The major changes for the website included restructuring the information architecture, improving usability, and rebranding.

Together with other designers, I conducted customer research and collaborated closely with stakeholders to identify key pain points and shape the vision for the new Stockland website.

To meet user’s needs, I restructured the pages and redesigned components. These improvements enhanced the user journey and created an intuitive experience, which helps users envision their future plans, homes, or offices.

Floating enquiry button

Receiving enquiries from customers is also critical. In the previous design, the enquiry button was located on the navigation bar. Once users scrolled through the page, it was easy to overlook. To address this issue, I moved the inquiry button to a floating position, ensuring it is always visible to users. This change resulted in an increase in the number of enquiries.

Shopping experience

The shopping centres section is a popular part of our website. In this integration process, increasing user engagement was a priority for us. We aimed to incorporate more entertainment and interactive elements to make the experience more enjoyable and engaging.

The impact

The website update was an outstanding accomplishment by the entire team and Frog design.

Following the project, we experienced a significant increase in enquiries and received excellent feedback from users.
